Ty Anania

Ty, a New York native with a dark (born in Boston) secret, joined WME in 2019. When he’s not reading, he’s probably watching the Brooklyn Nets. Or thinking about reading.

Ty Anania (ann-uh-nye-uh), represents adult fiction and nonfiction, with some occasional crossover into Young Adultfantasy and science fiction.

In the adult fiction space, Ty is a broad reader, with a taste that tends literary in many forms: he’d love to read your genre fiction, from science fiction and fantasy to hard-boiled detective and cozy mystery. If it’s a thriller, he wants inventive page-turners with whip-smart prose and a novel perspective. In the sci-fi or fantasy space, frankly, he’ll read anything, but what he’s looking for is something new. Among all things, genre or otherwise, he is a sucker for world-building. In the literary space, Ty is looking for work with vivid emotion and propulsive story-telling.

On the nonfiction side, he’s looking for work by experts on subjects that touch on broader cultural issues, whether that’s investigative journalism or something more surprising.
